MENTAL SKILLS, TAUGHT PROPERLY

FOR PARENTS & SCHOOLS.

How Mindset Moto supports young riders at home, and how it can support schools, clubs and education providers.

01

WHY MENTAL SKILLS MATTER FOR YOUNG RIDERS.

Young riders face real pressure: race-day nerves, big crowds, crashes and setbacks. Mental skills like focus, resilience and emotional control help them enjoy the sport and handle its challenges — and the same skills transfer to school and everyday life.

02

PARENT-ASSISTED LEARNING IN THE JUNIOR ACADEMY.

In the Junior Mindset Academy (ages 7–11), parents take part. Exercises are short and conversational, designed for a parent and rider to work through together — at home, in the car, or at the track.

03

AGE-SPECIFIC EXERCISES BY DESIGN.

Lessons are written with age-specific wording: simple language and short activities for juniors, practical thinking and drills for 12–15 year olds, and deeper analysis and reflection for riders 16 and over. Each rider automatically sees the version built for their stage.

04

HOW ASSIGNMENTS AND PROGRESS ARE RECORDED.

Between lessons, riders complete real-world challenges — then reflect on them. Each attempt, reflection and completed lesson is recorded in the rider's own private progress log, visible to the rider (and parents managing their account).

05

LEARNING OBJECTIVES AND ASSESSMENT.

Lessons carry clear learning objectives and the skills each activity develops, so parents can see what every exercise is designed to build. Content is structured and sequential, and every lesson is checked by the Mindset Moto team before it is published.

HOW ACCOUNTS WORK FOR PARENTS.

  • For riders under 18, a parent or legal guardian creates and owns the account.
  • You add your rider's preferred name and age, and give consent. Your name and the date of consent are recorded on the account.
  • Lesson wording adapts automatically to your rider's age.
  • Your rider's lessons, goals and race reflections stay private to your account and Mindset Moto administrators.
  • No child profile information is ever shown publicly, and no advertising tracking is used.

EDUCATION ALIGNMENT — OUR LONG-TERM GOAL.

Our long-term vision is to align the Mindset Moto curriculum with the Australian Curriculum's Personal and Social Capability, and to support schools and clubs that use motorsport to engage students. We treat this as a future goal, not a present credential.

Honesty first. Mindset Moto is an independent academy. It is not accredited, registered or endorsed by any education department. Where we describe education alignment, it is our stated goal — never a claim of approval.

SCHOOLS & EDUCATION PROVIDERS.

Clubs, schools and education providers are welcome to get in touch about group access, pilot programs and curriculum mapping.
